Bank Bag Stolen From Business

   Officials with a Leoma business have reported to law enforcement officials that a bank bag has been stolen.

   Owners of Anne’s Diner, 2571 Highway 43 South, summoned deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department to the business on Friday. Owner Deanna White reported that she had been closing up for the night when she noticed that the bank bag was missing from the safe.

   The theft, she reported, had taken place sometime between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. The bag reportedly contained around $1,200 in cash and checks.
